Artwork guidelines
A great hat starts with great artwork.
Before uploading your logo or design, take a moment to make sure your artwork is ready. Good quality artwork helps us produce a cleaner and more professional finished product.
FOR EMBROIDERY
Embroidery works best with designs that have:
Clean shapes
Solid colors
Readable text
Simple details
Strong contrast
Logos with too many tiny details or extremely thin lines may need to be simplified before they can be embroidered properly.
Keep in mind that embroidery uses thread rather than ink. Small details that are visible on a computer screen may not translate perfectly when stitched into fabric.
FOR HEAT TRANSFER
Heat transfer is a great choice when your design contains:
Multiple colors
Gradients
Photographs
Detailed illustrations
Small design elements
Complex artwork
Because the design is printed before being applied to the hat, heat transfer can reproduce details and colors that are difficult to achieve with embroidery.
ARTWORK QUALITY
For the best results, always send the highest quality version of your artwork that you have.
Vector artwork is ideal for logos because it can be resized without losing quality. High resolution PNG files can also work well for many designs.
If your artwork has a background that you do not want printed or stitched, make sure the file is prepared accordingly.
